Đại học Swansea University

Swansea University được công nhận là Trường đại học năm 1920, là trường đại học nhánh thứ tư của Đại học Wales và năm 1948 trở thành trường đại học đầu tiên ở Vương quốc Anh. Năm 1996, Swansea University đổi tên thành Đại học Wales Swansea sau những thay đổi về cấu trúc trong Đại học Wales. Tên trường Đại học Swansea được chính thức thông qua vào ngày 1 tháng 9 năm 2007 khi Đại học Wales được tư nhân hóa. Đây là trường đại học lớn thứ ba ở Wales về số lượng sinh viên.
